Learning Target: I can create and justify a focused study plan by analyzing my strengths and weaknesses from today’s review so that I am prepared for tomorrow’s Regents midterm exam.

Regents Midterm Exit Ticket (DOK 4)

Task: Tomorrow is your Regents-style midterm. In this final reflection, you will analyze your current readiness and design a focused study plan for tonight.

Respond in a well-developed paragraph:

  1. Identify two specific content areas (topics, periods, or skills) where you feel least confident.

  2. Explain why these areas are challenging for you (be specific about what you don’t understand).

  3. Design a realistic study plan for tonight (what exactly will you do, for how long, and in what order?).

  4. Justify your plan by explaining how it will improve your performance on tomorrow’s exam.

  5. Set one measurable goal for tomorrow (for example: a target score, completing all questions, or improving a specific skill).

Sentence Starter Support (optional):
  • One area I need to review is… because…

  • Another topic I struggle with is…

  • Tonight, I will study by…

  • This plan will help me because…

  • My goal for tomorrow is…

“Our histories never unfold in isolation. We cannot truly tell what we consider to be our own histories without knowing the other stories. And often we discover that those other stories are actually our own stories.”
